I can’t believe how long it is since I last wrote but I have been busy getting my piano pupils ready for their exams this week. I was determined to make something for this months pinterest challenge however. Here is the original pin from my board.
I didn’t have a pattern for the bag so I made it up as I went along. I also wanted more of a handbag so I altered the shoulder straps- well in truth I didn’t have enough fabric to make long straps!! I lined the bag and I am very pleased with how it turned out, a bit Vivienne Westwood I think.
It’s on it’s side I forgot to edit it but you will get the idea!
A friend then saw the bag and gave me some fabric to make one for her too so I made version number 2, with some bamboo handles.
